VILLA CISPIANO

The rolling hills of Chianti, in the heart of central Tuscany, are carpeted with vineyards stretching almost as far as the eye can see. Ancient farmsteads and medieval towers punctuate the landscape, a view little changed since the Medici family bankrolled the region during the Renaissance.

Many boutique, high-quality winemakers operate throughout the region, often exporting only in small volumes. Among them are the owners of Villa Cispiano, whose wine business ranks among the most celebrated in Chianti.

A true labour of love set at the heart of Tuscany, the villa — a former farmhouse — has been recently renovated using original materials, including stone and terracotta. Ten king-size bedrooms comfortably sleep up to 19 guests, with facilities including an indoor spa featuring a sauna, Turkish bath, and heated indoor-outdoor pool offering views across the surrounding Chianti countryside.

A separate swimming pool area features its own bar and summer kitchen, perfect for relaxed poolside lunches, while alongside the main house, a covered dining area offers the ideal setting for evening meals against a glorious Tuscan backdrop.
