Tenuta Cantata is surrounded by some of Tuscany’s most verdant countryside, with sweeping views over rolling hills and olive groves. The property’s design is both stylish and traditional, featuring high-ceilinged rooms and generous open outdoor spaces throughout.

The glorious interiors showcase stone lintels, oak-beamed ceilings, large shuttered windows, and antique furnishings. Living spaces are filled with warm Tuscan light during the day, transforming into cosy, atmospheric rooms come evening, thanks to large fireplaces and flickering candlelight.

A fully equipped country-house kitchen comes complete with its own dining space, alongside a sitting room, drawing room, and a study furnished with comfortable seating. Tenuta Cantata offers six bedrooms spread across two floors, each with its own character and charm, with bathrooms featuring either freestanding roll-top baths or walk-in showers. A seventh bedroom is also available, though a supplemental charge applies for occupancy of 14 guests.

Outdoors, the estate encompasses olive groves, manicured gardens, and woodland, offering an idyllic location for lovely walks in incredible seclusion and privacy. Closer to the villa itself, guests will find a tennis court and a generous infinity pool with views stretching across the surrounding countryside. Plenty of comfortable outdoor seating is on offer, while the shaded loggia provides the perfect spot for alfresco dining out of the midday sun.

The nearest town, Mercatale, is just a 10-minute drive away and offers all the essentials, while a wider selection of restaurants, cafés, and a weekly outdoor market can be found in nearby Umbertide. Just a 40-minute drive from the villa, the stunning Lake Trasimeno offers its own small beaches and scenic walking routes.
