Chalet Saphir

Chalet Saphir is a modern alpine retreat in the exclusive Hameau des Plan hamlet of Chamonix, spread across three floors with an internal elevator and accommodating up to 12 guests across five en-suite bedrooms. Located on the middle level, the open-plan main living area features high vaulted ceilings, warm ambient lighting, and a large L-shaped sofa arranged around a glass-fronted fireplace. Expansive glass doors lead out onto a balcony with a covered outdoor dining table and sweeping views across Chamonix and the surrounding peaks. The floor hosts two dining setups—a formal central dining area framing mountain views and a secondary kitchen dining nook—ideal for groups wishing to separate adult and children’s mealtimes. The fully equipped kitchen features dual ovens for effortless self-catering.

Outside, a spacious south-facing sun terrace is centered around a traditional alpine cedar hot tub positioned to capture the afternoon sun, complemented by an indoor sauna for post-ski recovery.

The sleeping arrangements comfortably host up to 12 guests across three levels. The ground floor features four double en-suite bedrooms, each with direct walk-out access to the wellness terrace and hot tub. The upper mezzanine level houses a fifth en-suite bedroom fitted with four beds, ideal for children or flexible group stays. All bedrooms include individual air conditioning units. Practical estate features include a private garage equipped with ski racks and boot warmers. Chalet Saphir can also be booked alongside Chalet Alaska and Chalet Azurite to form Le Hameau des Plans, accommodating up to 41 guests. Bookings are based on exclusive use for up to 12 guests on a self-catered basis with daily housekeeping, with options to upgrade to a full gourmet catered package (including complimentary beverages) or a relaxed “Silver” catering service.
