Chalet L’Amarante

Chalet L’Amarante is a jewel of contemporary luxury — a 550m² ski-in/ski-out chalet in Courchevel 1850, offering an elegant style, excellent service, and full access to the luxurious facilities of the adjacent 5-star L’Apogée Hotel. With five spacious, decadent bedrooms, the property sleeps between 10 and 11 guests.

Spread across five floors, the chalet’s main living areas occupy the second, middle level. A long, elegant lounge features sleek wood interiors in rich chocolate-brown tones, complemented by a marble fireplace and plush, pastel furnishings of the highest quality. An oversized doorway leads through to the formal dining area, styled with the same sharp, sophisticated design. This floor also houses the chalet’s sizeable, fully-equipped kitchen, ideal for preparing snacks or hosting a private chef for a bespoke holiday menu. Both the living and dining areas offer access to a balcony, offering beautiful views over the surrounding mountains and forest.

Chalet L’Amarante offers an excellent range of spa facilities, all located on the ground floor. A comfortable spa lobby leads through to a soothing indoor Jacuzzi hot tub and a warming sauna, alongside a dual massage room offering further therapeutic treatments.

This same ground floor also houses the chalet’s cinema room, featuring nine luxurious armchairs arranged in front of the big screen, complemented by a premium sound system for a true home-cinema experience.

Spread across three of the chalet’s five floors, Chalet L’Amarante offers five marvellous double/twin bedrooms, accommodating 10 guests, with an additional guest able to be accommodated via sofa bed. Each room is generously sized, featuring bold colours, a distinguished style, and quality furnishings throughout. Every bedroom includes its own magnificent marble en-suite bathroom, many featuring walk-in showers, with one benefiting from a shower-Hammam. Many bedrooms also include dressing rooms, seating areas, and private balconies.

Guests of Chalet L’Amarante also enjoy full access to the incredible 5-star facilities of the neighbouring L’Apogée Hotel. The hotel’s spa area is truly exceptional, featuring an 11-metre indoor swimming pool, relaxing loungers, indoor Jacuzzi, sauna, salt sauna, Hammam, five treatment cabins, a state-of-the-art gym, and even a hair salon. Dining options include the gourmet, meat-focused Beefbar Courchevel and the authentic French cuisine of L’Apogée Club, alongside a plush lounge bar with terrace and a distinguished cigar lounge. Perfect for family ski holidays, the hotel also features two kids’ clubs and an impressive range of entertainment facilities, including computer games, table football, billiards, and table tennis, along with an on-site ski shop.

Within the privacy of the chalet itself, a large ski room stores all winter sports equipment, opening directly onto the snow, where a private magic carpet lift — exclusive to the hotel and its chalets — provides access to the green Jardin Alpin piste. An internal lift also connects all five floors of the chalet.

Rates are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 11 guests, including daily breakfast and a choice of either lunch or dinner at one of the hotel’s restaurants. Also included is a dedicated butler, full use of the hotel’s facilities and spa, soft drinks from the minibar, and complimentary return transfers from Geneva or the nearest airport. A private chef for breakfast and dinner is available on request.
