Chalet des Ors offers a homely, inviting ski holiday in Megève’s Demi Quartier. With a wood-and-stone exterior typical of Megève’s luxury chalets, the property boasts 555m² of living space, ideal for groups of family and friends. Set in a prime ski-in/ski-out location, Chalet des Ors offers a wonderful range of facilities for its 10-14 guests.

The chalet’s light interiors reflect the tasteful style of its English owners. The first floor houses the open-plan living areas, exuding a spacious, airy feel through high ceilings, light wood décor, and an abundance of large windows. Comfortable sofas gather around the generous fireplace, the perfect spot to warm up while taking in views of the slopes outside. Guests can step out onto the wraparound balcony for a closer look at the peaceful surroundings, while a further sofa and two armchairs offer additional seating for watching TV or simply enjoying the view.

A short walk up the stairs leads to the second half of the first floor, home to a spacious dining area and beautiful kitchen tucked at the back of the property. The wooden dining table comfortably seats 10 guests, perfect for fuelling up before a day on the mountain or refuelling afterwards, with a large window offering views over the private garden, alpine backdrop, and outdoor hot tub beyond. A separate, sleek white kitchen sits behind the dining area, fully equipped and featuring a central island — the perfect spot for a quick snack.

Chalet des Ors’ wellness area offers the perfect setting for evening relaxation after a day skiing in Megève. A generously sized indoor swimming pool helps loosen tired muscles, complete with novelty inflatables for younger guests to enjoy. An adjoining sauna offers the next stage of relaxation, while daybeds provide a peaceful spot to unwind with a book. For those wanting to stay active, gym equipment is available in the neighbouring room, with glass windows looking through to the wellness area as a well-earned reward once finished. An outdoor cedar hot tub on the terrace completes the wellness offering.

A TV snug and games room offers teenagers their own space to relax or compete on the table football, while a table tennis table can be set up in the garage for further in-chalet competition. Guests can also enjoy a film together in the tiered cinema room, located on the chalet’s wellness floor.

Chalet des Ors sleeps 10-14 guests across six bedrooms spread throughout the property. Each room reflects the same cosy, homely style found throughout the chalet, with all double bedrooms benefiting from en-suite facilities, and the children’s bunk bedroom featuring its own private bathroom. The quad bunk bedroom, sleeping up to four children, includes desks and plenty of space to play. Arguably the standout room, the master bedroom is found on the top floor within the eaves of the property, featuring high ceilings, a private balcony, walk-in wardrobe, and en-suite facilities.

The chalet offers garage parking for guests driving to resort, with a connected ski room and boot warmers, ideal for storing wet equipment on return from the slopes.

Rates are based on exclusive use of the chalet on a bed-and-breakfast basis, including afternoon tea and daily housekeeping.
