Chalet Serge

Chalet Serge is an alpine lodge in Cortina d’Ampezzo where natural materials, modern design, beautiful views, and excellent wellness facilities combine to create a mountain home built for comfort and relaxation. Spread largely across one floor with additional attic spaces, within a building forming part of the Dolomiti Lodge Alverà hotel above the hotel restaurant, this home-away-from-home sleeps between 6 and 7 guests across four bedrooms.

Built with an abundance of natural wood, the chalet offers a light, airy mountain-lodge feel, while contemporary furnishings and modern design touches give it a distinctive character quite different from traditional alpine chalets. A bright lounge with extra-tall ceilings features a plush 15-seater sofa, offering plenty of space for guests to relax after a day on the slopes. Adjacent, the dining and kitchen areas showcase the chalet’s bold design style, with a spacious dining table seating up to 14 guests set against a striking steel-and-teal kitchen. The lounge and dining areas share a long balcony, the perfect spot for an apéritif while taking in stunning views of the Dolomites.

Tucked to the right of the chalet’s entrance, the spa area offers a peaceful retreat, featuring comfortable loungers beside a 2m x 2m Jacuzzi with soothing hydromassage jets. A Finnish sauna and Hammam are also on hand, along with a shower for cooling off between sessions.

Above the lounge, a mezzanine space houses a cosy TV lounge, complete with soft carpeting, comfortable furniture, and a large screen for movie nights, along with a desk for guests needing to catch up on work.

Chalet Serge’s four bedrooms sleep up to 7 guests. The master double bedroom includes a spacious en-suite shower room and shares a balcony with a further double/twin bedroom, both offering stunning views of the Tofane mountains. A third double or twin bedroom occupies a mezzanine space above its own private shower room, offering guests added privacy, while a final single bedroom is ideal for staff or younger guests. Every bedroom includes its own shower room.

Guests staying at Chalet Serge also benefit from access to the spa and facilities of the Dolomiti Alverà Lodge hotel, including massage and beauty treatments, a heated indoor/outdoor swimming pool, and a well-equipped gym, along with the option to dine at the hotel restaurant.

Outdoor parking is available for guests, along with a ski room within the hotel for equipment storage, in addition to space at the chalet’s entrance for storing ski gear.

Rates are based on exclusive use of the chalet on a bed-and-breakfast basis for up to 7 guests, including daily housekeeping and in-resort shuttle service.
