A truly special property in an exceptional location, Chalet Mckinley is a beautifully designed, richly furnished luxury chalet in Zermatt, offering the perfect home for up to 10 guests on a luxury ski holiday. With a Scandinavian-inspired design combining reclaimed wood with inviting furnishings, alongside a stylish spa area, Chalet Mckinley offers a warm yet refined base for your stay.

The top floor houses the chalet’s impressive living space, featuring tall vaulted ceilings and a modern, open-plan layout. Weathered wooden beams stretch across the ceiling, while exposed brick surrounds the central fireplace, bringing warmth throughout the room. The far wall is dominated by expansive windows, framing beautiful views over Zermatt and the Matterhorn. On one side of the fireplace, comfortable designer sofas create an inviting lounge area, while the other houses a bespoke dining space suited to the whole group. A stylish modern kitchen with breakfast bar and spacious island completes the floor. Outside, a generous balcony offers the perfect spot to enjoy the fresh mountain air, with seating positioned to make the most of the stunning Matterhorn views.

On the floor below, guests will find Chalet Mckinley’s tranquil spa area. Whether soaking in the giant sunken indoor hot tub or unwinding in the sauna and Hammam after a day on the slopes, there’s plenty here to help guests relax. Soft lighting and comfortable loungers enhance the calming atmosphere, while a plunge pool and shower offer the perfect way to cool off between treatments. A private massage room is also available for additional spa and beauty therapies.

Guests can also enjoy a comfortable TV lounge and playroom — a great feature for families — complete with sofa seating, a cosy set of bunk beds, and a mini table tennis set for younger guests.

Chalet Mckinley’s five bedrooms sleep up to 10 guests in total. Finished in traditional wood and thoughtfully furnished, each stylish suite offers a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. Every bedroom includes access to a balcony with Matterhorn views, along with its own sleek en-suite bathroom.

An internal lift connects all four floors of the chalet, which also includes a ski room with boot warmers and laundry facilities.

Guests of Chalet Mckinley also benefit from access to the shared facilities of the wider 7 Heavens chalet complex, including a well-equipped communal gym and a welcoming bar and lounge area, perfect for an après-ski cocktail or a game of pool.

As part of the 7 Heavens development, larger groups can combine Chalet Mckinley with the neighbouring Chalet Elbrus (sleeping 12) and Chalet Denali (sleeping 10) for an even bigger group getaway.

Rates are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 10 guests and include full staff service — a professional chef, chalet manager, housekeeping team, and in-resort electro-taxi service on arrival and departure. Food and drink are charged separately, at cost price plus applicable local VAT.
