O Valala

Chalet O Valala takes its name from Valhalla, the great hall of Nordic legend, and truly lives up to its epic namesake. This luxury chalet with its own swimming pool sleeps up to 13 guests across six spacious en-suite bedrooms, spread over three floors, and offers an outstanding range of facilities alongside breathtaking panoramic views down the valley.

Guests are welcomed into the open-plan living area by a warming fire, the perfect greeting after a day on the mountain. Double-height vaulted ceilings give the lounge a truly grand feel, while comfortable sofas gather around a charming coffee table designed in the style of a traditional sledge — the perfect spot for a pre-dinner glass of champagne and canapés. Large windows and balconies showcase stunning views over Val d’Isère, while a cosy reading corner offers a quiet retreat. When dinner is ready, guests can move through to the dining area, comfortably seating up to 14, with a fully-equipped bar on hand to keep glasses topped up throughout the evening.

The lower ground floor has been designed purely for relaxation, offering an excellent range of spa facilities. The indoor swimming pool, set within a room of stone walls and grey flooring, creates the sensation of swimming inside the heart of the mountain. A Hammam and dedicated massage room provide further opportunities for total relaxation, while a large outdoor Jacuzzi, seating up to seven guests, offers wonderful views over the resort. This floor also houses a state-of-the-art home cinema complete with games console, designed with comfort firmly in mind for a truly immersive entertainment experience.

The entire top floor is dedicated to two spacious master bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. Richly finished with mountain wood and deep blue tones, these rooms offer a wonderfully cosy retreat. The remaining four double or twin bedrooms, each with en-suite shower or bathroom facilities, are located on the ground floor. Decorated in a similarly elegant alpine style with a variety of stylish colour palettes, these rooms offer guests plenty of choice without compromising on luxury.

The chalet also features a heated ski room with boot and glove warmers, along with access to the garage.

For larger groups, Chalet O Valala can be combined with the neighbouring Chalet Machapuchare to accommodate up to 28 guests.

Rates are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 13 guests on a fully staffed basis, including a private chef for six evenings, daily breakfast preparation, and in-resort driver shuttle service. Food and drink are charged separately.
