Domaine de l’Orme sits on the mountainside just outside Méribel, tucked away amidst the forest. This fairytale-like chalet, complete with its own swimming pool, combines traditional alpine charm with an array of spacious living areas, excellent spa facilities, and exceptional attention to detail. Ideal for larger groups of family or friends, Domaine de l’Orme comfortably accommodates up to 14 guests across six inviting bedrooms.

Spanning an impressive 730m² across three floors, the chalet’s main living spaces are found on the ground floor. A grand central hallway leads through to several rooms, the most striking of which is the chalet’s lounge. Plush sofas sit beneath an intricately designed antler chandelier, warmed by a classic stone-and-wood fireplace. Double-height ceilings, a semi-open layout connecting to the surrounding living spaces, and expansive windows along one wall give the lounge a light, airy feel — the perfect spot for the group to gather and socialise. These windows open onto a wide balcony offering spectacular views stretching over snow-covered treetops down toward Méribel Mottaret.

On the same floor, the dining room features a long table seating up to 14 guests, ideal for gourmet feasts prepared in the adjacent, fully-equipped kitchen. The kitchen also includes a smaller, casual dining space and offers ample facilities for guests or a private chef alike, all while maintaining the chalet’s traditional, charming style.

Domaine de l’Orme offers a true sense of tranquillity, not only through its secluded setting but also through its impressive spa facilities, found on the lower ground floor. The centrepiece is a generously sized indoor swimming pool, with a wellness shower, Hammam, and massage room at one end for indulgent spa treatments. At the other end, guests can step out onto a terrace and garden area, where a sunken wooden hot tub provides a wonderfully soothing spot to relax after a day skiing in the world’s largest ski area.

Beyond the main lounge and spa, Domaine de l’Orme offers plenty more spaces to unwind in the evenings. The ground floor includes a peaceful library for quiet reading, a TV lounge ideal for family movie nights, and a separate sitting room with table football for livelier evenings. Upstairs, a mezzanine level overlooking the main lounge houses both a study and a second TV room, so there’s never a need to compete over the remote.

The chalet’s six bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bath or shower room, sleep up to 14 guests in total. Featuring an understated yet refined mountain-lodge style, the rooms offer plush, comfortable beds and a strong sense of privacy throughout. The master suite occupies the top floor alongside the mezzanine, complete with its own fireplace and private balcony. A further double bedroom is located on the ground floor, while the remaining four suites are found on the lower ground floor near the spa — comprising three further double bedrooms and a quad bunk room, with two beds suited to adults and two suited to children.

Guests can store their ski equipment in one of two spacious ski rooms with boot warmers, located at the chalet’s lower ground floor entrance. Three outdoor parking spaces and laundry facilities in the basement are also available.

Rates are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 14 guests and include full staff service, comprising a professional chef, chalet manager, housekeeping team, and in-resort driver service. Food and drink are charged separately, at cost price plus applicable local VAT.

The chalet is also available on a self-catered basis with daily housekeeping.
