MASSERIA PIETRA

With origins dating back to the mid-18th century, this traditional farmhouse, or masseria, has been lovingly restored by its current owner into an incredibly comfortable and stylish retreat. Located within the scenic Canale di Pirro valley, the property is surrounded by delightful Mediterranean terraces, along with a walled garden, pathways lined with strawberry trees, and beyond, more than 40 hectares of vineyard, olive grove, and woodland. A wildflower meadow on the estate also features the remains of a historic trullo ruin.

A welcoming team of staff is on hand to ensure guests are well cared for throughout their stay, from daily housekeeping with turndown service to the culinary expertise of chef Luciano, who prepares delicious Italian and regional dishes. Home-baked bread, fresh from the oven, is a real speciality, alongside a farm-to-table menu built predominantly from produce harvested directly from the estate. Breakfast follows a wonderfully Italian tradition, featuring seasonal fruits, pastries, organic muesli, and estate-produced honey. A variety of dining settings are available for gatherings throughout the stay — the candlelit courtyard offers a wonderfully atmospheric setting for a celebratory dinner, poolside dining is perfect for lazy lunches, and the lawns provide the ideal spot for a picnic with glorious views over the surrounding region.
