Pure Black Crystal

Pure Black Crystal is a stunning luxury chalet in the charming village of St Martin de Belleville in the Three Valleys, accommodating between 8 and 12 guests across five bedrooms. Built using natural wood and stone, the chalet embodies traditional alpine design while concealing an impressive range of spa facilities and generous living spaces, adding an extra layer of luxury to this already remarkable property. Guests staying at Pure Black Crystal also benefit from access to the 5-star facilities and amenities of the M Lodge Hotel & Spa, just a short drive or walk away.

The chalet’s main living spaces are found on the second floor, the same level as the main entrance. A wooden pillar housing a glass-fronted fireplace on all sides sits at the heart of the open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area, offering warmth in every direction. The spacious living room, furnished with stylish, comfortable sofas, feels even more generous thanks to vaulted ceilings and tall windows opening onto a wide balcony with postcard-worthy mountain views. A shimmering golden light fixture adds an elegant touch above the large banquet dining table, while the sophisticated black-and-wood kitchen is well equipped for dinner preparation, complete with an attached breakfast bar for additional dining space. One floor up, guests will find a mezzanine TV lounge and games room, offering plenty of space for younger guests to play, along with soft sofas for relaxing in front of the TV or with a good book.

The ground floor houses Pure Black Crystal’s spa area, home to the majority of the chalet’s fabulous wellness facilities. A soothing relaxation space with sauna and large swimming pool offers a calm setting for wellbeing, while a massage room upstairs allows guests to indulge in private treatments. Outside on the terrace, just off the spa, a cedar wood hot tub offers an inviting spot for a relaxing soak, complete with incredible views across the valley.

Pure Black Crystal’s five bedrooms sleep up to 12 guests. Traditional wooden walls and ceilings combine with soft carpets and muted tones to create a peaceful, inviting atmosphere throughout, perfect for unwinding after a day of activities. Three bedrooms are located on the first floor, including the master double bedroom — the most lavish of the suites — featuring an en-suite bathroom, walk-in shower, dressing area, and two private balconies. Two further double bedrooms, one of which can also be configured as a twin, are also found on this floor, each with en-suite shower rooms. Down a level, guests will find a fourth double bedroom alongside a charming children’s bunk room sleeping four.

A stay at Pure Black Crystal also grants access to the wonderful facilities of the M Lodge Hotel & Spa, located near the St Martin 1 gondola, just a few minutes’ drive from the chalet. Beyond the chalet’s own excellent spa, the hotel features its own 220m² spa with a 16-metre swimming pool, sauna, and three massage cabins. A hotel restaurant and bar lounge offer a sociable dining or drinking experience, while further ski services include in-house ski and boot fitting, instruction through the M Snow Academy, and a boutique shop for luxury fashion and winter gear.

For larger groups, Pure Black Crystal can also be rented alongside neighbouring Pure White Crystal, accommodating up to 22 guests in total.

Rates are based on exclusive occupancy of the chalet for 12 guests and include staff service, a private chef, and an in-resort chauffeur service. Food and drink are charged separately.

Please note that a €10,000 security deposit is required when booking Pure Black Crystal.

Please also note that, in support of the French government’s energy-saving initiative, guests will be asked prior to arrival whether they wish to use the outdoor hot tub. It will only be made operational upon request.
