Chalet Alpensia

Chalet Alpensia is a luxury ski-in/ski-out chalet in Courchevel 1850, accommodating 10-11 guests. This magical property stands out not only for its bold, individual style of modern luxury, but also for its exceptional service and facilities, alongside full access to the incredible spa and amenities of the neighbouring 5-star L’Apogée Hotel.

Spread across four floors, Chalet Alpensia’s main living areas are found on the second floor. A spacious, opulent lounge is cleverly separated from the elegant dining area by a marble fireplace, flanked by large doors on either side that can be left open or closed as needed. Rich, dark wooden walls combine with vivid furnishings in regal red and deep, verdant green tones to create a distinctive, individual space, unlike almost any other chalet in the Alps. Traditional glass doors surround the living areas, filling the space with natural light while offering glimpses of the snowy forest surrounding the Jardin Alpin area, and opening out onto a spacious balcony.

A bespoke spa area on the ground floor offers guests a wonderful range of facilities within a truly tranquil setting. A large sauna and sizeable indoor Jacuzzi hot tub provide the perfect group wellness session after a day on the mountain, while a dual massage treatment room offers further opportunities for targeted therapies.

Also located on the ground floor, Chalet Alpensia features a small cinema room, where comfortable, luxurious armchairs sit neatly arranged before the big screen for a true home-cinema experience.

Chalet Alpensia offers five double/twin bedrooms in total, sleeping up to 10 guests, with an additional guest able to be accommodated via sofa bed. Three bedrooms are located on the first floor, with the remaining two occupying the top floor. Each room offers an impressive suite-like feel, with generous space, ultra-luxurious furnishings, vibrant colours, and an exceptional marble en-suite — one of which features a shower that doubles as a Hammam. The two top-floor suites, known as the “Mansarde” suites, stand out further still, featuring tall sloping ceilings, private balconies, and a truly gorgeous design.

Sitting directly adjacent to L’Apogée Hotel, Chalet Alpensia offers guests full access to this astounding 5-star hotel’s incredible range of facilities and services. Beyond the chalet’s own excellent spa, the Spa L’Apogée offers an almost limitless selection of further wellness spaces — from lounging beside the 11-metre swimming pool to exercising in the fitness suite, or easing tired muscles in the sauna, salt sauna, Jacuzzi, and Hammam. Guests can also enjoy bespoke treatments in the treatment cabins, or visit the beauty and hair salons. Dining options are equally impressive, whether enjoying a gourmet meat-focused dinner at Beefbar Courchevel, traditional French cuisine at L’Apogée Club, or a fine cocktail in the lounge bar or cigar lounge. Families are well catered for too, with two kids’ clubs offering multiple games and play rooms, alongside table tennis, billiards, and table football, plus an on-site ski shop for all your slope-side needs.

Chalet Alpensia itself also features a private ski room on the ground floor, with direct access to the slopes, where the hotel’s private magic carpet lift transports skiers onto the green Jardin Alpin piste. An internal lift also connects all floors of the chalet for added convenience.

Rates are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 11 guests, including daily breakfast and a choice of either lunch or dinner at one of the hotel’s restaurants. Also included is a dedicated butler, full use of the hotel’s facilities and spa, soft drinks from the minibar, and complimentary return transfers from Geneva or the nearest airport. A private chef for breakfast and dinner is available on request.
